"Sherry E. Sullivan earned her PhD from the Ohio State University. She is currently a tenured associate professor at Bowling Green State University, director of the Small Business Institute and is formerly of Memphis State University where she was an assistant and tenured associate professor. She has published in journals including: Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Group and Organization Management, and Academy of Management Executive. She was division chair, program chair, and newsletter editor for the Academy of Management's Career division. Sullivan also served on the Gender and Diversity in Organizations (GDO) board; as Secretary and Track Chair for Entrepreneurship/Small Business/Consulting for the Southwest Academy; as secretary, program chair and division chair of the International Division of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship; as treasurer and human resource management/careers/organizational development track chair for Midwest Academy and twice served on the board of the Southern Management Association. She is the recipient of the Academy of Management’s GDO Division Janet Chusmir Outstanding Service Award and a fellow of Southern Management Association. She is coeditor (with Yehuda Baruch and Hazlon Schepmyer) of Winning Reviews: A Guide for Evaluating Scholarly Writing (Palgrave, 2006). "
